DURAN GROUP

Due to the increased wall thickness, the DURAN production bottles have better mechanical properties than standard DURAN glass bottles and are thus ideal for stirring and mixing processes using large heavy stirring staffs.
Of course, these large capacity bottles also have the other well known and proven DURAN properties, such as excellent chemical resistance, nearly inert behaviour and high usage temperatures.

The 10 and 20 litre bottles are handmade in Pula, Croatia. The glassworks combine the traditional know-how of experienced glass makers with unique, patented suction-feed technology in order to produce blown glass products of optimum precision and quality.

The bottles are available with both the standard GL 45 thread and with the GLS 80 wide neck thread. Consequently all screw caps and connection systems from the DURAN Group form ideal add-ons to the bottles. For use in sensitive areas, e.g. the pharmaceutical industry, use of the GL 45 premium cap or, with wide neck bottles, the GLS 80 quick release closure with sealing disc (PSU compound) is recommended.

Furthermore, DURAN production bottles are provided with a retrace code. By entering the retrace code and the corresponding article number, a batch and quality certificate can be easily and conveniently downloaded.

You can obtain the DURAN production bottles as well as a comprehensive range of original accessories including caps and connection systems from your specialist laboratory dealer. Upon request, the bottles are also available with a plastic coating.
