DURAN® GLS 80® laboratory bottle

wide neck with GLS 80® thread

With easy-to-read scale and large labelling field for easy marking, in fired-on, highly durable white ceramic. Complete with blue quick release closure (PP, integral lip seal) and pouring ring (PP) for drip-free pouring and clean, safe working. Service temperature limit of closure and pouring ring: +140 °C. Special thread means opening takes less than a turn. The 80 mm wide outer diameter of the bottle neck permits easy filling and pouring out of powders and viscous substances.

Typical applications: storage, transport, safekeeping and sampling of substances, easy to use with granulated material, powders and viscous media, sampling of hot media.

 

Alongside the GLS 80® clear glass laboratory bottles, amber (absorbs light up to approx. 500 nm) and plastic-coated (absorbs light up to approx. 380 nm) bottles are also available to protect light-sensitive substances. The PU plastic coating also provides protection against scratching, leakage and splinters.

To provide assistance in mixing processes, the GLS 80® stirred reactor is also available.
