Pipettes are used for accurate measurement and the discharging of liquids. It is possible to discharge only specific quantities with bulb pipettes. Graduated pipettes, however, enable different quantities of liquid to be taken up which can then be discharged in part or entirely. DURAN® pipettes are calibrated to deliver at a reference temperature of 20°C. The volume content tolerances for etchable pipettes meet the accuracy limits of the German weights and measures regulations and the ISO and DIN recommendations. The accuracy limits of the DURAN® Class “B” version are about 1.5 times the accuracy limits of Class “AS”. They are, therefore, better than required by DIN.
