Filtering flasks are used for drawing off liquids and vacuum filtration.
DURAN® filtering flasks are available in both conical and cylindrical form. They have an appropriate wall thickness to ensure suitability for use under vacuum. DIN 12 476 prescribes a pressure test to ensure that items are suitable for use under vacuum. All DURAN® filtering flasks can be used under vacuum.
Glass hose connections are no longer approved for use in Germany because of the high risk of injury.
