Filtering flasks are used for drawing off liquids and vacuum filtration.
DURAN® filtering flasks are available in both conical and cylindrical form. To ensure suitability for use under vacuum they have an appropriate wall thickness. All DURAN® filtering flasks are suitable for use under vacuum, as is described in DIN 12 476, which specifies an appropriate pressure test to ensure that items are suitable for use under vacuum.
The introduction of filtering flasks with a glass hose connection (female) has simplified and facilitated work in preparatory and analytical laboratories. In addition, filtering flasks reduce the risk of accidents.
