Filtering flasks are used for drawing off liquids and vacuum filtration.
DURAN® filtering flasks are available in both conical and cylindrical form. To ensure suitability for use under vacuum they have an appropriate wall thickness. DIN 12 476 prescribes an appropriate pressure test to ensure that items are suitable for use under vacuum. All DURAN® filtering flasks are suitable for use under vacuum.
Hose connections are available in both plastic and glass (glass tubulature, glass hose connection, plastic hose connection, plastic tubulature). Glass hose connections are no longer approved for use in Germany because of the high risk of injury.
