DURAN® funnels are used for filling and filtration. Round paper filters are available for the funnels, which are used for simple filtration. Because of the shape of DURAN® analytical funnels, they can be used for rapid filtration tasks. A slight vacuum is formed in the hollow chamber on the inside of the funnel, which results in suction being applied to the liquid being filtered.
