The Premium screw cap for DURAN®laboratory glass bottles
The universally applicable Premium Screw Cap for all GL 45 threads meets the highest demands for storing and packaging products from pharmaceutical, chemical and food industries.
The cap does not contain any colorants or plastic pigments.
Contamination Impossible
This new screw cap is made from a material of highest chemical resistance (TPCh260). In order to prevent the medium from being contaminated in any form, the cap does not contain any colorants or plastic pigments.
The silicon seal is coated with PTFE on both sides for highest demands on chemical resistance. The seal is firmly fixed to the cap thus preventing the medium from leaking into the space between the lid and the seal.
It remains extremely tight even after having been opened and closed several times. The matching pouring ring guarantees non-dripping and safe handling.
Easy Sterilization
The Premium Cap is characterized by its temperature resistance ranging from –196 °C to +260 °C. Due to the high temperature range, this cap is suitable for many sterilization methods such as autoclaving or dry sterilization.
FDA Conformity
The Premium Cap meets all requirements of both US Pharmacopoeia (USP Class VI) and European Pharmacopoeia (EP) and therefore also complies with FDA standards.
