The new DURAN® GLS 80 wide neck glass bottles feature a specially developed screw thread. The matching quick release closure ensures that the bottles can be opened and closed safely and quickly.
The 80 mm diameter neck size of the bottles allows easily and safe charging and removal of powders, media in paste form, granules and fluids. Spoons, spatulas and tweezers can be handled with ease and without problems. The neck is wide enough for the bottles to accept even large-volume funnels effortlessly and safely. The large neck makes cleaning particularly easy and effective.

Freedom from leakage – the matching quick release closure with integral sealing cone provides a high quality seal and protects the contents from contamination.
Temperature resistance – the closure is made of polypropylene suitable for use including autoclaving up to 140°C.
User-friendly – the screw is especially designed so that it can be rapidly opened and closed with less than two turns.
