One of DURAN Group GmbH’s core competencies is the manufacture of precision glasses with tolerances in the ìm range. As a result it is possible to achieve a degree of precision for the glass that is equivalent to the precision of metal machining . The DURAN® borosilicate glass used, stands out because of its thermal shock resistance, its highest possible chemical resistance and its minimum heat expansion behaviour.

smallest possible tolerance ± 0,003 mm (diameter dependent)
see catalogue for standard tolerances
External diameter
from 4 mm bis 260 mm
smallest possible tolerance ± 0,002 mm (dependent on the internal diameter and the wall thickness)
