DURAN® Original GL 45 Lab Bottles complete with high temperature closures

DURAN® original GL 45 Laboratory Bottles are available complete with high temperature screw caps and pouring rings. The PBT cap and ETFE pouring rings offer greater thermal and chemical resistance than the equivalent polypropylene components.

    • Glass bottles are manufactured from clear DURAN® borosilicate 3.3 glass, renowned for its excellent thermal performance and high resistance to chemical attack.
    • DURAN® glass conforms to USP / EP Type I.
    • Available in a full range of popular bottle sizes from 100 ml to 10 Litres.
    • The bottles feature an easy-to-read graduated volume scale, and marking field in permanent white enamel.
    • Permanent Retrace Code on each bottle for full manufacturing lot traceability.
    • All components are fully autoclavable at 121 or 134 °C.
    • All components are suitable for dry heat sterilization up to 180 °C.
    • Supplied complete with red polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) GL 45 threaded cap with PTFE faced silicone liner and ETFE pouring ring for drip free pouring.
    • Addition of 30 % glass fibre reinforcement to the PBT resin increases stiffness, tensile strength and impact resistance of the screw cap.
    • Screw cap seal with PTFE faced cap liner for efficient sealing.
    • All construction materials are fully compliant with current international food contact regulations such as (EU) No 10/2011.

    DURAN® GLS 80® Baffled, Wide Mouth Bottle

    The DURAN® GLS 80® baffled, wide mouth bottle has three vertical baffles into the inner surface, the swirling motion is disrupted, and a much more effective mixing occurs. The baffles improve the top-to-bottom circulation and produce a greater radial mixing. The baffles also offer other advantages such as suppressing the formation of a central vortex, and reducing dead-zones where mixing does not occur.

    • Compatible with DURAN® GLS 80® magnetic stirrers, other magnetic stir bars, and with the full range of wide mouth GLS 80® connection cap systems for liquid addition or removal when mixing with stir bars.
    • The baffles are moulded into the glass side wall of the bottles and form a continuous, smooth inner surface making clean up easy

    Amber DURAN® YOUTILITY GL 45 Laboratory Bottle System

    • Can be used for the storage or transport of chemicals sensitive to light: amber coloured glass offers protection against ultraviolet light for light sensitive material
    • Fully meets the requirements of the USP <660> and Eur. Ph. 3.2.1
    • Amber colour is permanently fired into the exterior glass surface. The treatment does not affect the properties of the inner surface of the bottle

    • With easy-to-read scale and large labelling field for easy marking, in fired-on, highly durable white ceramic. 
    • Service temperature limit of the PU plastic coating: –30 °C to +135 °C (instructions for autoclaving, see laboratory catalogue). 
    • The coating provides scratch, leak and splinter protection and is ideally suited to both the transport and storage of hazardous media or valuable samples.
